The Zinger

 Relieve digestive issues and inflammation with this zingy super shake smoothie. Ginger helps to reduce any nausea and banana keeps you feeling satiated for longer.

Ingredients
1 serving (25 g) Dr gaye Super Shake
1 kiwi
1 apple (roughly chopped)
1/2 banana
1-2 cm cube of ginger

Method
1. Pour the pre-soaked Dr Gaye super shake into a blender
2. Scoop out the kiwi flesh and add to the blender along with apple, 1/2 banana and 1-2 cm cube of ginger depending on how much zing you like (you can leave the skin on the ginger for extra goodness)
3. Blend for 1 minute
4. Drink and enjoy  the zing.



Sweet as a nut smoothie

 Go nuts for this creamy, nutty, Super Blend smoothie. Raw nut butter is a delicious way of incorporating healthy fats and protein into your diet

Ingredients
1 tbsp (10g) Dr Gaye Super Blend
250ml/1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp raw nut butter
2 dates
1/2 banana

Method
1. Pour 250ml/1 cup almond milk into your blender
2. Add the raw nut butter of your choice, dates, chopped banana and one serving (10 g) of Dr Gaye Super-Blend
3. Blend until smooth and creamy
4. Start the day feeling "sweet as a nut"



Super Charged Nana

Recharge your body with this cinnamon-spiced banana Super Shake Smoothie. The extra cacao powder helps to increase alertness and cinammon controls blood sugar variations eliminating mid-morning slumps.  

Ingredients
1 serving (25 g) Dr Gaye Super shake
1 banana
1 tsp cacao
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp coconut oil or 250ml/1 cup coconut milk

Method
1. Pour the pre-soaked Dr Gaye Super Shake into a blender
2. Add chopped banana, cacao powder and cinnamon and blend for 1 minute
3. Add coconut oil or coconut milk to sweeten  and thicken the shake
4. Enjoy & recharge for the day ahead
 


Rocky Road Recipe


 Ingredients
2 tbsp (20g) Dr Gaye Super Blend
2 chopped frozen bananas
125 ml soaked cashe nuts in 1/4 pint water
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp cacao nibs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt

Method
1. Cut banana in slices and freeze
2. Place cashews & water, Dr gayes super blend, coconut oil, vanilla, cinammon and salt in a blender/food processor
3. Pulse ingredients together and blend until creamy then put to one side
4. Blend frozen banana and add pre-mixed mixture above and pulse to mix well
5. Add remaining ingredients (walnuts, dates/sultanas, cacao nibs) and pulse just a couple of times
6.  Transfer to a container & leave in freeze for 2 hrs
7. Serve, indulge, enjoy

Purple Party

 Start a morning mouth party with this beetroot Super-Blend smoothie. Beetroot is excellent for reducing fatique and anaemia because it's high in irons. Beets are also low GI reducing the risk of feeling lethargic later on in the morning

Ingredients
1 tbsp (10 g) Dr Gaye Super-Blend
2 tbsp of mixed berries
1 tsp beetroot powder or 1/4 uncooked beetroot
1/2 - 1 banana depending on preference
250 ml/1 cup of almond/coconut milk

Method
1. Pour 250 ml of plantbased milk into your blender
2. Add chopped banana, beetroot, mixed berries and one serving (10 g) of Dr Gaye Super Blend
3. Blend until smooth and creamy
4. Party on!



Pumpkin Pie Porride


Method
4 tbsp (50g) Dr Gaye Super Porride
250ml/1 cup almond milk or coconut milk
1 tbsp raw almond butter
3 dates, roughly chopped or 1 tbsp sultanas/raisins
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
100 g cooked pumpkin flesh or sweet potato (skin removed) (best if baked)
2 tbsp coconut sugar

Method
1. add all spices, half the sugar & almond butter to milk in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes
2. Blend in a blender with sweet potato or pumpkin until thick and smooth
3. Transfer back to saucepan, stir in raisins or dates and Dr Gaye Super Porridge and heat gently until warm
4. Serve sprinkled with the remaining coconut sugar
5. For real decadence serve with a dollop of organic double cream! Or cashew-nut cream.

Peachy Cream Pies

 Sweeten your morning naturally with this vanilla and peach super shake smoothie. Peaches are high in vitamin C helping to combat the formation of free radicals and skin damage.

Ingredients
1 serving (25g) Dr Gaye Super-Shake
2 peaches
5-8 drops of vanilla essence
1 tbsp coconut oil or 250 ml/1 cup coconut milk

Method
1. Pour the pre-soaked Dr-Gaye Super-Shake into a blender
2. Add 2 chopped peaches and blend until smooth
3. Add 5 drops of vanilla essence and coconut oil or coconut milk and blend
4. Serve and enjoy!!


Hawaian Smooth

Have a tropical taste trip with a Hawaiian-inspired super shake smoothie. Mangoes are great for your hair and nails because they contain vitamin A. They also promote bowel regularity and a healthy digestive tract due to the high fibre and water content.

Ingredients
1 serving (25 g) Dr Gaye Super shake
1/2 mango
1/2 banana
1 cm slice of pineapple
250 ml/1 cup of coconut milk

Method
1. Pour the presoaked Dr Gaye Super-Shake into a blender
2. Add the flesh of 1/2 mango, 1/2 chopped banana and the pineapple
3. Blend with 250 ml/1cup coconut milk until smooth
4. Drink and imagine you are on holidays :D



Gingerberry Smoothie

Wake up with this raspberry and ginger super blend smoothie. Raspberries are a powerful source
of polyphenols, particularly flavanoids which improve memory and brain power

Ingredients
1 tbsp (10g) Dr Gaye Super Blend
250 ml/1 cup almond milk
250 ml/1 cup water
12 raspberries
1-2 cm ginger depending on personal taste
2 figs
2 dates

Method
1. Pour 250 ml/1 cup almond milk and 250ml/ 1 cup water into your blender
2. Add raspberries, figs, dates, ginger and one serving (10g) of dr gaye super blend
3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Mmmmm... Yummy!

Choc Brownie Recipe

Ingredients
2 tbsp (20g) Dr Gaye Super Blend
225g dates (remove stones and soak in water for a few hours and drain)
60 g almond flour/ground almonds
60g chopped raw walnutes
2 tbsp extra virgin raw coconut oil
60 g raw cacao powder
2 tbsp organic desiccated coconut or coconut flakes

Method
1. Put dates, ground almonts, coconut oil, cacao powder and Dr Gayes super blend in a blender or food processor. Blend until well combined and smoothish (extra water might be required). The mixture should not be a liquid but birm and slightly crumbly
2 Stir in the chopped walnuts
3. Line a baking tin with cling film and dust with cacao powder
4. Spoon the mixture into the tin, press down firmli with coconut. Place in the fridge for minimum 2 hours to set
5. Enjoy!!!!!!

Breakfast Bars Recipe

Ingredients
100g dates
50 g sultanas
40g almonds
30 g walnuts
40 g dessiccated coconut
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 lemon (juice)
1 pinch of salt

Method
1. Soak dates and dr gayes super shake (click here for a review of the product) in juice of 1 lemon and 1/4 pint of water - leave for 2-4 hours
2. blend walnuts, almonds coconut into a course meal
3. add  liquid from previous steps and coconut oil and salt into the nutmix and mix by hand until combined
4. Stir in the sultanas
5. Line a tray with cling film and spread the mixture thickly
6. Put  in fridge for a couple of hours
7. cut, serve and enjoy!



Apple Pie Porridge Recipe

Ingredients
4 tbsp (50 g) of Dr Gaye Super Porridge
250 ml almond milk or coconut milk 
2 tbsp raw almond butter
3 dates roughly chopped or 1 tbsp sultana/raisins
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 ground cinnamon
1/2 vanilla pod (not essential)
1 apple finely chopped 
chopped pecans or walnuts

Method
1.Add all spices, almond butter and apple to milk in a saucepan and simmer for 5 mins
2. Blend them in a blender until thick and smooth
3. Transfer back to saucepan, stir in raisings or dates and Dr Gaye supper-porridge (more info here) and heat gently until  warm
4. If you follow a raw food diet you can use a thermometer to ensure it doesnt heat above 40c (or 110 f) 
5. Serve with chopped walnuts or pecans and drizzle with raw honey (if you have a sweet tooth) & grate over some raw apple

Big Greeny

Boost mineral and vitamin levels with this greeny super shake smoothie. Both spinach and avocado are high in fibre which helps digestion and reduces blood sugar spikes

Ingredients
1 apple (roughly chopped)
1 handful baby spinach
1 spring of mint
1/4 avocado
1/2 lime
2 dates

Method
1. Pour the pre-soaked Dr Gaye Super-Shake into a blender
2. Add the roughly chopped apple, spinach, mint, avocado flesh, juice of 1/2 lime and 2 dates and blend for 1 minute or until smooth
3. Drink up!


Raw Toffee Apples



Warning: It's a messy eat and leaves you looking ghoulish, and ready to scare the neighbours this halloween :)

Ingredients
Red apples
Wooden sticks (chop sticks work well)
12 dates
1 tsp lucuma (optional)
1 heaped tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut milk (or other non-dairy milk)
Raw chocolates

Method
1. Soak dates in water for 6 hours
2. Put in blender with lucuma, coconut oil and blend until creamy. If you need more liquid slowly add the non-dairy milk to get a cream consistency 
3. As the caramel begins to cool, it will set more. The consistency should be creamy and smooth enough to spread all over the surface of an apple
4. Roll in Dr Gayes Super-Spoonful and press into the caramel
5. Leave in fridge to set (2 hours is plenty)
6. Melt the raw chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of warm water until creamy
7. Drizzle over set toffee apple
8. Put back in the fridge to harden



Figgy Pudding

 
Wake up your digestive system with this thick and creamy super blend smoothie (or pudding). Figs are an excellent source of dietary fibre; they also provide a feeling of fullness and can reduce hunger and sugar cravings..

Ingredients
 1 tbsp (10g) Dr Gaye Super-Blend
250 ml/1 cup of almond mild
2 figs
2 dates
1 heaped tablespoon cashews
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Method
1. Pour 250 ml almond milk into the blender. Add figs, dates, cashews, cinnamon, nutmeg and one serving of Dr Gayes Super Blend
2. Blend until smooth and creamy
3. Use less liquid for a thicker pudding
